Use of LANDMAP and LVIA

The request was successful.

Dear Sir or Madam,

With reference to Applications A031074, A031075 and A071154 relating to a proposed business park at Capel Bangor, Ceredigion.

I'm writing to ask whether CCW has asked for and reviewed a Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment in relation to these propposals.

Can I also ask whether you expressed any interest in this proposal other than in relation to biodiversity matters.

I'd also like to know whether you have a written policy on responding consultation where a LANDMAP visual and sensory evaluation is High. My understanding is that as a matter of policy you do not make a substantive response in these cases. It would be useful to see such a policy n writing.

Yours faithfully,

Charlie Falzon

I am awaiting information on any written policy regarding the use of LANDMAP in relation to planning applications, particularly where you choose not to review applications in aspect areas of High visual and sensory values.

Yours faithfully,
