Thank you for your information request of 23 January 2020.  Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested. Our response is now detailed below.

 

Does your organisation use a weather forecasting/monitoring service called
Hazard Manager provided by the Met Office?

If so, please confirm whether this is a paid for service or provided free
of charge.

ACC moved away from the met office system a number of years ago as the
other services are more detailed

ACC use two systems, both of which we pay an annual fee -  Vaisala and
Metdesk

INFORMATION ABOUT THE HANDLING OF YOUR REQUEST

 

As the information which you requested is environmental information, as
defined under Regulation 2(1) of the Environmental Information (Scotland)
