Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Can you please provide the information and guidelines used by your fraud investigation teams, to obtain and use CCTV footage from a 3rd party. Could you also confirm that CCTV evidence gathered from a 3rd party has to be gained by way of a RIPA Warrant ( Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000). Can you confirm no evidence sent in by a 3rd party can be used without an official investigation and further evidence obtained under the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (RIPA) Lastly can you confirm that any 3rd party evidence gathered is only admissible if all data protection laws have been followed fully.

Yours faithfully,

Mark Bennett

Thank you for making this FOI request. I'm a child trafficking victim who has had a lot of harassment from the police to basically cover up the crimes committed against m e and other looked after children. I have Asperger Syndrome and PTSD and last year list my PIP after several community stalking incidents and 3 Capita assessments in less than 6 months. I may sound articulate online but the PTSD and AS meltdowns make it very difficult for me to socialise and the stalking has made me too afraid to go anywhere now. Thanks to you I realise that this has to have police approval, and that's helped me in my own personal quest for justice. Thank you so much Mark.
