bank holiday. Was this intentional? as this would make a significant
difference to the figures in question 1. I will respond with figures based

Please find below the details of your request, with the response in bold.
Please note for question 1, I have provided figures for the 3rd May 2018
and not the 2nd as this was a bank holiday and figures would not be
typical for a working day.

Please can you provide the following information under the Freedom of
Information Act:
1 – The number of qualified social workers who were working on a temporary
(agency) basis at the Council on Monday 2nd April 2018, analysed by:
 
a) Children’s Services social work roles, 12 Agency Workers on the 3rd May
2018
b) Adults’ Services social work roles, 17 Agency Workers on the 3rd May
2018
 
2 – What was the total spend by your organisation on temporary (agency)
social work professionals during the financial year 1/4/17 to 31/3/18.
£1,730,908 for Agency Workers in Children’s and Adult Services.
