Subject: FOI - Use Of Agencies Within UK Councils

Further to your request received on 22/02/2024, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your
request. For ease of reference, I will now address each of your questions
in turn.

Where applicable, annual can refer to your most recently recorded 12 month
period.

1.           Please can you confirm annual spend on healthcare locums
through agencies (including therapy, pharmacy, social care and doctors).

£7,508,802.17

2. Please also provide a breakdown for the 4 mentioned areas?

Social Care – £6,959,540.62
Occupational Therapists – £ 549,261.55
No engagement with Pharmacists or Drs through MSTAR Framework.

3. Please can you confirm annual spend on permanent recruitment through
agencies for healthcare related roles?

Our primacy agency Adecco are unable to advise as they do not do permanent
recruitment to those roles and we haven’t paid any agency for permanent
recruitment over the last 12 months.

4. Please may you confirm the contact details for the person/team
