Thank you for your request of 01 September 2017 in which you asked for the following
information. Please find our response below in bold:
Could you please advise if the Council keeps any records of how often electric car charging points
installed/paid for by it have been used? If so can these records please be provided.
Oxfordshire County Council did not pay for the installation of the charge points – we were
delighted to facilitate the installation of charging points at our Park and Ride sites. The
points were funded by Central Government via the city council then handed off to a Private
charge point operator, the details of which can be found on ZapMap: https://www.zap-
map.com/.
As the operator is a private company we do not hold utilisation data. The new Go Ultra Low
Oxford (GULO) on street charging trail funded by the Office of Low Emission Vehicles
(OLEV) https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/office-for-low-emission-vehicles will
publish utilisation data for the publically available charge points.
