The request was successful.

Dear Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust,

What constitutes capacity at your urgent care centre causing new arrivals seeking treatment to be turned away?

On 7 September 2021, what was the Urgent Care Centre's capacity between 17.15 and its 8pm closure, resulting in my being turned away at 17.15 though only 7 people were in the waiting area?

Were there any new admissions for treatment after 17.15 who were seen?

Yours faithfully,

Margaret Nicol

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please see the information about Urgent Care Centre on the following link:

https://www.guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/our-s...

Also, the UCC runs a virtual queue since Covid 19 – meaning the waiting room is not an accurate representation of patients waiting to be seen.

If you have any other query don't hesitate contact the FOI team.

Kind regards,

Freedom of Information Team
