Dear Jason

I am writing to advise that unfortunately our response to you regarding
the up-to-date fleet data will be delayed and it is likely we are unable
to meet the date of the 25.07.2022 that we originally informed you of.

We are currently verifying the data that I have gathered for the current

to the Gambia (Gambia and Avon Fire Services in Partnership - GAFSIP).

I will keep you updated on my progress.

I apologise for any inconvenience that this delay may be causing you.

Thank for you for your patience in this matter.

Dear Jason

I write in response to your request for information dated 27.06.2022
relating to Avon Fire & Rescue Service’s (AF&RS) up-to-date fleet list,
which has been processed under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act
2000 (FoIA).

Firstly, please accept our apologies for the delay in our response to your
request. I can confirm we hold the information, and the information we can
provide you is attached.  Please note I am still awaiting final
verification of the Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) / National Resilience
Assets fleet lists and to avoid further delay, the attached does not
include this list.  I will send on this list once it has been verified and
once again, thank you for your patience.

The attachment to this email is an up-to-date Fleet List as of
26.07.2022.  Please note, to maintain operational resilience, our fleet
department will occasionally redeploy vehicles around within the Service.
Also, taking into account new vehicles and vehicle disposals, this fleet
list is continually being updated.

The attachment includes:

• Operational vehicles, cars, trailers and pods
• Vehicle type
• Station
• Call sign
• Fleet number
• Registration (number) plate
• 2021 Disposals of vehicles as donations to the Gambia as part of the
Gambia and Avon Fire Services in Partnership (GAFSIP) charity.

In terms of the list of AF&RS appliances which have been donated to GAFSIP
for previous years, we had every intention to publish a complete list on
our website in 2020. Unfortunately, this has been delayed due to other
demands on the Service, and we do not at this current time have a date to
inform you when the information will be available.

I can only apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing you,
however I will keep this part of your request open and will notify you
when the information becomes available.

I hope you find the information we have provided useful and thank you for
your interest in AF&RS.

Guidance about how we deal with requests for information can be located on
our [1]website. AF&RS retain request correspondence for the current
financial year plus 3 years.
