Upsurge in unrest during and until 3AM drink-up

THOMAS made this Freedom of Information request to Clackmannanshire Licensing Board

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Clackmannanshire Licensing Board,
Has any provision been made for the increased police presence to monitor and control the inevitable cursing, swearing, screaming, fighting etc. emanating not only from the front but from the back of these premises where they congregate to smoke at the rear fire doors. I seem to be under the impression that the local police station is shut at night, and only attend to reported incidents. this is not satisfactory. This summer may well be ruined every weekend by the constant disturbance of drunks emanating from those three premises that you granted late licences to. I did not have a chance to object to the granting of the licences, but hope you have some way of keeping a tally on the call-outs the police have to attend, and complaints made by local residents

Yours faithfully, Tom
