Updated Admission Statistics
Dear University of St Andrews,
I would like to request (preferably in Excel form) the following data on admissions at the university:
The number of undergraduate applications, offers and acceptances for each academic school in the university (as given from this list https://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/about/schools), broken down into three categories based on the applicants fee paying status:
1. Scotland and EU
2. Rest of UK
3. International
In addition, the data should be separated by the past five admissions cycles (preferably into different excel sheets).
Example (but formatted better in excel):
2017-2018:
School of Biology:
UK: Applicants 132 Offers 32 Acceptances 14 | EU and Scot (...) | International (...)
School of Chemistry:
(...)
2016-2017
(...)
I understand this is a substantial request and might require significant time to collate, so thank you in advance.

Thank you for your email below of 3 February 2019 in which you requested
Undergraduate admission statistics.
The University will endeavour to respond to your request as quickly as
possible. In any event you will receive a response within the time set for
compliance, as prescribed in section 10 of the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 i.e. no later than 1 March, 2019.
It may prove necessary for the University to seek further clarification
from you, to assist it in identifying and locating the information
requested. If this is the case either I or one of my colleagues will write
to you in this respect. If clarification is required we will seek this at
the earliest opportunity.
In the meantime, should you have any questions about your information
request please do not hesitate to contact me. Please quote Ref number
54-19 in any future correspondence in this connection.
