Dear Ms McNally,

Request for information: Contracts over £5,000

Please see below the Council’s response to your request for information.

You have asked;

I would like to request a list of your current contracts with suppliers
over the value of £5,000 or over.

As a minimum, please include:

Reference number

Title of agreement

Local authority department responsible

Description of the goods and/or services being provided Supplier name and
details Sum to be paid over the length of the contract or the estimated
annual spending or budget for the contract

Value Added Tax that cannot be recovered

Start, end and review dates

Whether or not the contract was the result of an invitation to quote or a
published invitation to tender, and

Whether or not the supplier is a small or medium sized enterprise and/or a
voluntary or community sector organisation and where it is, provide the
relevant registration number.

The Council does not record a central list of contracts with a value less
than £50k. Therefore, we have supplied a list of contracts with a value in
excess of £50k.

Please note, the following information is not recorded;

·         a description of the goods/services being provided (other than
was in the contract title);

·         VAT that cannot be recovered

·         Whether the contract was the result of an invitation to quote or
published invitation to tender; it is the policy of the Council to seek a
minimum of 3 written quotations between £10k to £99,999 and formal tenders
from £100k. The Council uses procurement portals for these;
[1]www.myTenders.co.uk before February 2018 and
[2]www.in-tendhost.co.uk/westberks from February 2018.

·         Whether the supplier is a SME or VCO.

The Council also publishes spend over £500 on its website which may be of
interest to you, this can be viewed here;

If you are unhappy with the way your request has been handled, you may ask
for an internal review. You should contact The FoI Reviewing Officer,
