Up to date data from cycle and pedestrian counters
Dear Aberdeen City Council,
You recently responded to my request for cycle and pedestrian counters ( https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/d... ) to 30 April 2020. Thank you.
Can you now provide data for the same devices, in the same format, from 1st May to 30th June 2020 please - ie as CSV, which shows a count per counter per lowest level date held (day / week / month etc)?
Can I also encourage you to publish this data on a monthly basis on your open data platform, so as to save me or others having to make repeated requests for updated figures, as I will be doing on a monthly basis from now on.
Thanks
Yours faithfully,
Adrian B Summers

Dear Foi Enquiries,
Thanks for letting me know.
These things happen - 5 days is fine.
Yours sincerely,
Adrian B Summers
Dear Aberdeen City Council,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Aberdeen City Council's handling of my FOI request 'Up to date data from cycle and pedestrian counters'.
When i first requested this information it should have been provided by 31 July 2020.
On 3rd August you stated that it should be with me in 5 working days. I responded by saying that rather than ask for a review (which ties up resources) I'd be content to wait five more days.
Now some 15 working days have passed and no data has been received
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/u...
Yours faithfully,
Adrian B Summers
Dear Mr Summers,
Thank you for your request for a review, received on 24 August 2020, to
reconsider the information request REV-20-0654 based on lateness of
response from Aberdeen City Council (ACC).
In accordance with the timescales set out in FOISA, you should receive a
review outcome on or before 21 September 2020. If ACC fails to provide
you with a response by that date, you can apply to the Office of the
Scottish Information Commissioner (OSIC) to make a decision. Please refer
to the Further Information section below.
I would also take this opportunity to advise you that you will have no
further opportunities to seek a review at local authority level after your
response has been provided, as FOISA allows applicants to have one review
only. If you receive your response and disagree with any aspect of it, you
should contact OSIC directly.
Yours sincerely,
Grant Webster

Dear Grant / Foi Enquiries,
Thank you for that and for the explanatory note.
Somewhere along the transmission route the link "here" to where the data is now being published by ACC has been stripped.
I've had a look at the Open Data platform (https://data.aberdeencity.gov.uk/dataset ) but can't see it there.
Can you point me to it please?
Thanks
Adrian
Hi Adrian,
My apologies for that. The link was certainly there when I sent the response so I'm not sure what has happened.
Here is the link to the published information: https://www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/services...

Grant
