Dear [email address],Thank you for a reply. Why is it you refer to a SPM keeping their branch but dont recognize the phrase their Post Office? What is the distinction? What procedures are used to work with a SPM to help them keep their branch? And lastly what causes POL to reject candidates who apply for a branch that a notice to leave notification is currently on?

Yours sincerely,

john o'sullivan

Dear [email address],Thank you for a reply.Do you have any recorded instances were a retailer actually keeps his business running but only closes the Post Office side ?How does this real life SPM experience compare to what you say happens when a SPM expresses a desire to close"They've wasted no time in arranging to clear out their equipment from my office. I informed them 14th Nov that I would be closing 16th Nov, and by 17th Nov they'd been in touch with an audit date 9th Dec and schedule for uplifting their equipment 12th and 13th Dec.....does that sound like an organisation 'seeking to find ways to work with a Postmaster to keep their branch' ????"

Yours sincerely,

john o'sullivan

Dear [email address],As everthanks for a reply, specifically" We want to be as open as possible in answering requests for information. The FOIA itself
also requires us to provide reasonable advice and assistance to those seeking to make
such a request." To that end can you explain why you are unable to answer FOI2022/00495"This means that your declarations have resulted in a cash shortage meaning the system
believes your cash declaration should be more than what you have said. "What is meant by "the system believes?"

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mr O'Sullivan,

Thank you for your email.

As you will be aware, we answered your FOI request reference FOI2022/00495 on 18 August 2022, and your subsequent request for an internal review, reference IR2022/00583, on 21 September 2022. In our response letter, you were given the opportunity to appeal to the Information Commissioner at that point.

We therefore have nothing further to add and will not enter into any further correspondence on this matter.

Kind regards
Information Rights Team
