Dear National Grid PLC,

The Greater Cambridge Partnership plans for remodelling Milton Road in Cambridge* contain a warning that the work involves:

"Working in close proximity to unodourised high pressure gas pipeline Feeder 2"

Could you please release:

* Any advice or information provided to the Greater Cambridge Partnership or its contractors in relation to the remodelling project and risks posed by the presence of gas pipelines.

* The location where the gas pipelines intersects with the project area, or if easier, a map showing the location of unodourised high pressure gas pipelines in the city of Cambridge.

Proactively published information from National Grid suggests no national gas transmission pipelines pass under the city of Cambridge. They pass near the city to the east and south.

I suspect the warning on the Greater Cambridge Partnership plans may be inappropriate. This request is seeking to clarify the situation.
