Dear British Waterways Board,

Please treat this request as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would be grateful if you would send me the following information:

1.The minutes of the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group meetings to date.
2.The terms of reference and work plan of the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.
3.The Memorandum of Understanding between the parties in the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.
4.A breakdown of the budget for British Waterways' involvement in the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.
5.Copies of all the reports, briefings, emails and other information sent from British Waterways to Oxford City Council, Thames Valley Police and the Environment Agency regarding the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.
6.Copies of all internal correspondence, reports, briefings and other information within British Waterways regarding the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.

I am writing further to my acknowledgement of 30th April and your request for various information relating to the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group.

I can confirm that, other than the attached piece of correspondence, British Waterways does not hold the information you have requested.

Furthermore, we understand that the Unlawfully Moored Boats Enforcement Group is an initiative formed by Oxford City Council and any requests for information related to this group should be directed at them.

BW say they do not have the information, but I don't believe this. As a member of the UMBEG, they must at least hold minutes of the meetings. BW has made similar responses to a number of FOI requests recently.I believe that the Boating Team in particular is withholding or destroying information from BW's Freedom of Information officers.
