Dear Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner,

If i am protesting & not breaking any laws, & i am arrested using false claims by the police simply designed to silence my protests, what rights do i have to defend myself from the officer/s making untruthful claims?

Im not too sure on the level of intelligence in the police by my question was a simple one, I AM NOT MAKING A COMPLAINT NOR WISH TO DO SO, YET!

I WOULD LIKE AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION PLEASE:

Further to your email below, and our letter of 18 February where we indicated we were forwarding your query to the Police for their attention - I understand that you have received contact from them and that you have informed them you wish for your question to be treated as a Freedom of Information Request.
