University of Reading Career Services Spend
Dear University of Reading,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I’d like to make a request regarding the careers support services available at your university.
If possible, I’d like to receive data specific to the 2018/2019 academic year.
Specifically, I’d like to request data on the student careers services spend. (Excluding operational costs.)
This could fall under career support or careers programmes.
If this includes a combined group of departments, could you please specify each department and their individual spend?
If I could please receive the data in a spreadsheet format, that would be fantastic. Feel free to get in touch if you require any clarification from myself.

Careers spend could be defined as any and all costs associated with providing the careers services at your uni.

As clarified on 23/01/20, including operational costs.
In response, we can advise in the financial year 2018/19 the spend on
central career services, placements management unit, careers mentoring
programme and careers-related Widening Participation activities was
£1,728,168.
