The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please email me your latest Universal Jobmatch (UJ) Jobcentre guidance for Jobseekers Alowance (JSA) and Universal Credit (UC), as well as guidance relating to the issuing of Jobseeker Directions for JSA or it's equal for UC whether given through UJ, electronically, email, sms, letter, telephone or face-to-face or any other means including digital. Plus guidance on UJ relating to it's inclusion in a JSA or UC Claimant Commitment.

Together with any log or notes of any changes since the last UJ guidance was issued.

Additionally I would like information held and details of legislation or regulations that say UJ must be used or logged into when a profile and public CV have been uploaded, or face a JSA or UC benefit sanction.

Yours faithfully,

Ian Wolf

From the Department's own Guidance to it's staff:

"However, for legal reasons, you cannot issue a Jobseeker’s Direction to mandate a claimant to create a profile and public CV unless a DWP IAD service is reasonably available to them should they need to use one - for example, because they do not want to accept cookies and therefore need to have access to a device on which cookies have already been accepted."
