Dear Department for Work and Pensions,
Under Universal Credit , I am hearing of a number of cases where appointments on the to 'do'lists have been missed off, or dates are plain wrong or contradict the work coach- to the detriment of the claimant .
Evidence for madatory reconsiderations has been taken over the phone rather than in writing then completetly contradicted and not even considered. This has been witnessed by C.A.B. officers. I een heard of one case where a lady attended a careers course and was then sanctioned for not attending said course. What weight is given to written rather than oral
tasks and what notice is required because in theory it could appear on the list a few hours before.?
The to list is not available to see for anything but recent additions which makes it less easy to confirm mistakes have been made.
