Union Unit/Division
Dear Cabinet Office,
In October 2020, it was reported that the UK Government has established a 'Union Unit'. In February 2021, Luke Graham was reportedly sacked as the head of this unit. It has also been reported that the name will be changed to the 'Union Directorate', and its number of advisers increased to 50.
It is only fair that there is absolute transparency on how taxpayers' money is being spent. Therefore, I would be grateful if you could provide the following:
1) Since its formation, how much has the Union Unit/Division cost?
2) What is the projected annual budget each year for the next 5 years?
Yours faithfully,
Kristian Healey-Ryder
