Undergraduate medicine curriculum

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, St George's University of London should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear St George's University of London,

My name is Pav Kalsi and I work in the clinical team at Diabetes UK, the leading charity for people living with diabetes in the UK.

I am undertaking some scoping work on exposure to diabetes education in undergraduate medicine degrees. Specifically I’m trying to find out:

how much time (number of hours/ weeks OR number of lectures) is dedicated to learning about diabetes as part of the undergraduate degree?
how is diabetes taught on the degree? Eg is it formal learning?
details of what diabetes education is covered as part of the curriculum.

It would be great if you could provide all or any of the above information.

Many thanks,

Yours faithfully,
Pav Kalsi RD BSc (hons)
