Dear Mr Chen,

I write to acknowledge receipt of your request.

In order for us to accurately process your request, could you please clarify which Undergraduate Admissions Handbook you are referring to? A quick search on the university website shows that there are many different undergraduate admissions handbooks published by various departments and colleges.

Dear University of Oxford,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of University of Oxford's handling of my FOI request 'Undergraduate Admissions Handbook'.

(1) Your response was not clear: what form does the document currently exist in and why can it not be released as a pdf or html?

(2) Your response shows no objection to releasing the handbook in theory. Therefore, would it not be a suitable distribution method to remove the password protection on your website, thereby complying with this request and acting in the spirit of open information that may prevent future requests to your organisation under the Act?

(3) If, for some reason, there really is no possible way to comply with this request I ask that you comply with the request up to the point where the statutory cost ceiling is reached.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/u...

Yours faithfully,

Robert Y Chen
