Dear Yaseen
Thank you for your request for your request for information regarding
undergraduate admissions statistics. Your request was received on 14 May
2020 and is being dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000. The reference number of your request is 3760.
Before we are able to proceed with your request, we require some further
clarification. I can see from your email that you are a prospective law
student so presume your request is in relation to a particular law
course. If this is the case, please could you confirm which course(s) you
are asking for information on. A full list can be found via this
link: [1]https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/ugstudy/cou...
If your request is in relation to all undergraduate courses at the
University, please be aware that it is likely it would exceed the
appropriate limit as defined by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The
Act sets a maximum cost of £450 for public authorities responding to
requests for information. This represents the estimated cost of one
person working for 3.5 days in determining whether the information is
held, locating it, and retrieving it. Under Section 12 of the Act the
University is not obliged to comply with a request that would
exceed the appropriate limit.
If you are requesting this information, we will need you to narrow your
request and confirm which questions you would like us to prioritise.
Once we receive this clarification, we will aim to respond to your request
within twenty working days. Please note this is calculated from the
following working day from receipt of your clarification.
Please be aware that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and following
Government advice, the University is moving to online teaching and staff
are working remotely, this may mean that access to some information held
locally or on certain systems may not be readily available at this time.
Where it becomes clear that the information you have requested is not
available due to the current situation, we will of course write to you and
advise you of this.
I hope that this is of help. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you
have any enquiries regarding this email.
Yours sincerely,
Karen Page
