Dear The FOI Officer

Data Protection,

Dear Mr Colley,
With reference to your request below would you be kind enough to clarify the information you require please in order for me to ascertain if we collate or hold this information or if we do are we able to retrieve it.....

I have interpreted 'amount' as the 'number' of incidents, but I require clarification on what you mean by incidents. Does you mean the number of times the police have been called out to an incident or do you mean the number of recorded incidents.
If it is the latter, this will include all calls to the police whether they are investigated or not, in which case this will probably take it over the FOI cost threshold.

I await your clarification in order for me to process your request.

Thank You,
Kind Regards,
Linda Dempsey

Dear Leicestershire Constabulary Data Protection,
Thank you for your letter asking for clarification. I would like to know the number of times that the Leicestershire police have been called out to incidents relating to under age (below 18) drinking. I am not interested in the number of calls made to the police regarding this type of incident. I hope this clarifies my original request but if further clarification is needed do not hesitate to contact me. My email address is [email address].

Yours sincerely,

Chris Colley
