Please answer:
1) If and when does (or has done) the Health and Safety Executive makes unannounced health and safety spot checks in police premisses/property (including vehicles and custody cells).
2) Which health and safety issues does the police, as an organisation, must report to the Health and Safety Executive and which Legislation covers such obligation?
3) Which health and safety issues do persons working for the police, such as a Health and Safety Officer, must report to the Health and Safety Executive and which Legislation covers such obligation? Please further explain the legal obligations on any police employee whom fails to report breach of Health and Safety at work.
4) How does the Health and Safety Executive gets involved when a death or serious incident occurs within police premisses?
