Unambiguous journeys being exceptions to the zonal fare system

The request was successful.

Dear Transport for London,

Please provide a list of all unambigous rail journeys which are exceptions to the zonal system of fares. To clarify, this is a list of possible journeys on the LU, LO, TfL Rail and DLR networks (excluding NR and the trams unless it is more effort to separate them out) where all possible routes between the two endpoints pass through a superset of the zones passed through by the expected route used for fare calculation; and this journey is not charged the standard fare expected for a journey between those zones.

As an example of a journey I expect to be included, take a peak time journey between Shepherds Bush Underground (Z2), and Queensway (Z1). This journey costs £2.40, rather than £2.90 as would be expected for a peak time journey between zones 1 and 2.

Yours faithfully,

A. Harkness

Dear Transport for London,

As a clarification, I am only interested in adult oyster fares.

Yours faithfully,

A. Harkness
