Multiple relatives and others reported at least 56 complaints to the CQC including 7 whistle blowing - multiple specific staff were named in those complaints and complaints relayed to the LA

There is no specific Mental Capacity Act document.  The Mental Capacity
Act itself applies to all practice.

This question is outside the scope of the Freedom of Information Act
2000.  We believe that you are asking about an ongoing investigation and
this will be responded to separately by the relevant service.

referral that was in place in 2015?

 

Please see attached above Wandsworth’s Safeguarding Adults Threshold
Guidance.

 

This guidance is for practitioners and partners and explains the processes
involved in making a decision about whether a REFERRAL regarding an adult,
who appears to be at risk of harm or is being harmed, is progressed
through the safeguarding adults procedure beyond the initial enquiry
stage.

 

 

9 Please advise how a formal safeguarding referral can be ignored and
why?

 

It is council policy that no safeguarding referrals are ignored.  We
believe that you are asking about an ongoing investigation and this will
be responded to separately by the relevant service.

 

 

 

10 Please advise the next safeguarding forum that members of the public
can attend ?

 

There is no public safeguarding forum.
