Dear Foreign and Commonwealth Office,

Thank you for your quick reply. I have refined my request as you suggested to make in narrower and covering a shorter timeframe. My sole request is now:

A: Please provide any correspondence between UK and US Government Ministers or civil servants related to the Policy Review on Resettlement of the British Indian Ocean Territory announced in December 2012 by the then Foreign Secretary William Hague.

Please include any correspondence from the six months prior to the announcement of this policy and the six months immediately following the announcement of this policy.

If it is not possible to provide the detail of the correspondence, please provide the dates on which such correspondence took place.

Yours faithfully,

Stefan Donnelly
