Dear Mr Hindmarsh,
Thank you for your request for information received on 17^th December 2012. You requested:

“please send me a list of all Secondary schools in the United Kingdom with the addresses,
contact telephone numbers, name of head teacher and an email   address for each head
teacher.”

I have dealt with your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and a  copy of the
information as held by the Department as at 18^th December 2012 is attached.

I have prepared for you on an Excel spreadsheet –

A complete list of all Secondary Schools (including, LA Maintained, Academies, CTCs, Free
Schools, Studio Schools and UTCs) with addresses, Head Teacher details, school email
addresses and number telephone number in England.

Due to the amount of teacher turnaround in schools the Department does not hold IT Manager,
Network Manager or Head Teacher email information, and for this reason have supplied you
with the school email address where possible.

Please note: The pupil numbers are taken from the School Census data collection in January
each year, so any schools that have opened since then will have nothing in this field.

The Department does not hold the information you requested for educational establishments in
Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, please contact:
