I am writing to confirm that the Gambling Commission has now completed its
search for the information which you requested on yesterday and a copy of
the information is enclosed as of 13 March 2011.

Please note that with regards to the number of bookmakers' premises, the
Gambling Commission is not responsible for licensing premises. This falls
to the local Licensing Authority in which the premises is situated. We
receive notification of the grant of a premises licence from the Local
Authority and we can only collate figures once the Local Authorities have
notified us of the premises licences they have granted; therefore we
cannot guarantee the information is complete, accurate or up to date.

The information supplied to you continues to be protected by the
Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. You are free to use it for your
