Thank you for your request for information received by The University of
Manchester on 19 June 2019 which was as follows:

 

Please can you confirm what the UCAT cut off score was last year for your
Dentistry BDS course. Also can you confirm the average accepted score in
UCAT for Dentistry in 2018.

 

The University has now considered your request and our response can be
found below.

 

The School of Medical Sciences has advised that unlike the Medicine
programme, Dentistry applications are solely assessed holistically,
wherein the UCAT (formerly UKCAT) score is taken into account with other
factors, e.g. the student’s qualifications, so there isn’t a ‘cut-off’. Of
the 409 dentistry applicants that were invited to interview, the mean
average UCAT score was 2476.42.
