UC Transitional SDP Element erosion and the ceasing of the £20 UC uplift temporary measure in October 2021

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Re: UC Transitional SDP Element erosion and the £20 UC uplift temporary measure that ceased in October 2021.

Bearing in mind UC payments are automated within the digital platform. What measures were incorporated in the UC build/digital platform to avoid/safeguard claimants paid the UC Transitional SDP Element paid as part of their UC award payments. Being subject to having their UC Transitional SDP Element eroded either through the implementation of the £20 UC uplift and the subsequent ceasing of the £20 UC uplift.

Yours faithfully,

Andy Pennington
