UC HRT fails EEA nationals and stayed cases

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I refer to information previously requested and provided under reference FOI2021/69427 (request made by Martin Williams dated 26 August 2021, response dated 24 September 2021).

I am requesting updated information for Table 1 and Table 4 of that information request for each of the months from June 2021 to December 2021. The information requested consists of:

1. Table 1: Universal Credit Full Service claims closed with an associated HRT granted "fail" outcome, total number of HRT tests and fail rates for EEA nationals for each requested time period.

2. Table 4: UC Full Service claims closed with an associated HRT granted ‘fail’ outcome for EEA nationals who have at least one dependent child, for each requested time-period. Please could this table be expanded so as to include a column for the fail rate, as is already included for Table 1.

In addition to the above information in respect of each month for June 2021 to December 2021, please could you also provide the following:

3. Table 4 data (as referred to above) for each month from March 2019 to February 2021.

4. Number of “[Fratila] lookalike case decisions that were previously subject to the stay of execution” which decision makers have now been instructed to review in ADM 1/22 [Note 1]. If possible, please provide the number of stays of cases on this basis in place for each month from February 2021 to December 2021.

[Note 1: See paragraph 1, 11 and 15 https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk... ]

Yours faithfully,

Claire Hall
