Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please provide the number of UC claims closed from 2017-2020 for when a claimant fails to accept their claimant commitment when they have;
a) no work-related requirements (e.g. LCWRA, caring responsibilities etc)
b) work preparation requirements only
c) work-focused interviews requirements

e.g. when a claimant is found to have a LCWRA they may be asked to accept a commitment asking them to agree to the following:

"I’ll use my online account to report changes to my circumstances.
Using my online account
I’ll sign in to my online account often to:
-complete all activities in my to-do list
-report changes to my circumstances promptly, including changes to work
-If I can’t get online, I’ll report any changes by calling 0800 328 5644 (Textphone: 0800 328 1344)."

Yours faithfully,

Andy McCarthy
