Tyne and Wear Metro in Washington
Dear Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive,
Please provide me with, under the Freedom of Information Act, the following:
1) All material regarding or referring to a possible expansion/or link of the Tyne and Wear Metro, to Washington. This should include, but not be limited to: Documents, Plans, Reports, and Meeting Minutes.
2) The cost (in taxes) of the Tyne and Wear Metro, for the past 5 years, to residents of Washington.
3) A break down of how the money taken from residents of Washington is spent.

Your e-mail dated 25th January 2010 has been forwarded to me as the
person within Nexus responsible for responding to Freedom of Information
requests.
I confirm that I will make the relevant internal enquiries for the
documentation you have requested in 1 but in respect of 2 and 3 I can
confirm that Nexus does not hold such information. By way of background,
the Tyne and Wear Integrated Transport Authority applies a levy to the
constituent Local Authority's within Tyne and Wear and provides a
revenue grant to Nexus in order to support concessionary travel, the
metro, bus and rail services, bus infrastructure and the Ferry.

Dear Mr Hedley,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 13th February 2010.I am awaiting
confirmation as to teh existence of other documents which may assist
your request following which I will provide a full response to your
earlier e-mail.
In the meantime I enclose a number of reports containing information in
respect of links to Washington .There are no minutes specifically
referring to links to Washington.
I have a further report in hard copy and am awaiting an outstanding
report which is being recovered from Nexus archives-again in hard
copy,befor responding to your earlier e-mail regarding S11 obligations.
