Two week run-on of IS, JSA(IB) and ESA(IR)

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

RE: 'Two week run-on of IS, JSA(IB) and ESA(IR) - for claimants
whose awards of those benefits terminate when they claim UC on or after 22.7.20'.

How does this process work? Is it automated or operated manually, and how does the UC digital platform identify those receiving the two week run-on, to avoid overpayments?

Best wishes

Andy
