Two services care home and day care
Dear Western Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
As you have not answered my FOI correctly , I am making the FOI request again here publicly.
I was not asking for the figures of those in care home and separately, the number of those in day care.
I am asking, in the W Trust how many people are there who BOTH LIVE in a care home WHILST ALSO going to a Trust owned day care location. ie get BOTH services
I think that's clear?
That figure should be one figure, not three figures as you have given me.
what is the answer?
Yours faithfully,
Joan Corrigan
Dear Western Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
I look forward to yoiur acknowledgement and full answer without undue delay.
The answer you gave is purposefully incorrect on your part, I request either a full answer,or and internal review.
Yours faithfully,
Joan Corrigan
Dear Western Health and Social Care Trust (Northern Ireland),
Thank you for clarifying today the following text :
"The figure you had sought for the number of people who both live in care homes and access Trust owned day centres is listed next to day centres and is 110."
I would like for the following to be clarifed as part two of my FOI request:
*If a total of 110 people in WHSCT are currently living in care homes WHILST ALSO attending Trust owned/Trust paid day care, why is it the current policy to remove daycare services from those who move from their family home into a care home
*when did that "rule" start
*Why was that rule made (by whom, which organisation, which individual, based on what guidance and logic)
*If COVID is being used as a reason for this new rule, is the rule permanent or temporary/ open for review?
*If Covid guidance is being used for this rule, is it from the DOH or PHA and is it mandatory or optional for Trusts to use it?
*please include the link to this guidance
*why have those learning disabled in care homes across Fermanagh been removed from attending daycare ? will this be temporary? when will it be reversed?
*In making such decisions ,which are a deprivation of liberty, were each resident's families invited for a Best Interests Meeting to discuss the deprivation of liberty as policy? as per MH Capciy act NI 2016 ?
Joan Corrigan
