Twelve week rule - issue visa after appeal win.

R Lewis made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Home Office,

I have seen a number of references on the Internet about a twelve week policy rules to issue a visa when an applicant wins an appeal.

I have been unable to find this policy online.

I have found references to the policy on the justice.gov.uk website which validates the existence of the policy.

Can you please provide me with a copy of the policy that the various references references are referring to.

I do understand that the home office are rather busy at the moment and this twelve weeks has had four weeks added. Taking it to sixteen weeks. This is noted on the justice website.

Was this information communicated in a document to the justice website authors or relevant body to update. Can you please provide a copy of this information.

Yours faithfully,

Rebecca Lewis
