Under the Freedom of Information Act I request the following information:

1. How many Town and Village Green (TVG) applications has this local authority (LA) dealt with since 19 July 2006. Or if this not possible to obtain then the best you can do, but please specify the period of the search.

2. Of these TVG applications returned in 1, for how many was the Planning Inspectorate's opinion that the TVG application was excluded? In other words that a trigger event had occurred with no closing event.

3. Of these TVG applications returned in 2, for how many did the processing of the TVG application continue, in other words the LA ignored the Planning Inspectorate's opinion that any TVG application was excluded.

4. For the TVG applications returned in 3, please supply details of location, LA decision on the application and any appeal details i.e. court reference and outcome.

Electronic versions of documents are acceptable and preferred.

We have now considered your request and a copy of the information is
enclosed below.

 

The information supplied may be used for domestic or journalistic
purposes.  Its use for commercial gain including issuing to the public,
social media or computer blogs may be subject to the issue of a licence
under the Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015.

 

1.    How many Town and Village Green (TVG) applications has this local
authority (LA) dealt with since 19 July 2006. Or if this not possible to
obtain then the best you can do, but please specify the period of the
search.

Response: Since 2009 (this is the earliest entry legal’s current case
management system has for village green applications), we have dealt with
5 applications.

2.    Of these TVG applications returned in 1, for how many was the
Planning Inspectorate's opinion that the TVG application was excluded? In
other words that a trigger event had occurred with no closing event.

Response: Trigger events came into force under the Growth and
Infrastructure Act 2013. Of the 5 applications detailed in 1. above, only
1 application was received after this date. There was no trigger event.

3.    Of these TVG applications returned in 2, for how many did the
processing of the TVG application continue, in other words the LA ignored
the Planning Inspectorate's opinion that any TVG application was excluded.

Response: N/A

4.    For the TVG applications returned in 3, please supply details of
location, LA decision on the application and any appeal details i.e. court
reference and outcome.

Response: N/A
