TV Programmes Funded by The Home Department
Dear Home Office,
I believe in 2008, the Home Office paid £400,000 to fund the series UK Border Force for Sky television.
Please supply under the provision of the FOIA 2000:
1) Detail all instances available since the initial funding of the UK Border Force series of any television programmes funded by The Home Office.
a) How much money
b) The date the funds were paid
c) the series / programme / film it was funding
d) the job role of the individual who authorised the funding
e) the reasoning behind the funding, and how the Home Office justified the use of taxpayer money.
Yours faithfully,
Archibald

Is it just me, or is it now bordering on the ridiculous? Who funded the programmes?? I think this now requires an answer.

National Security and Health & Safety are just taking the p***. Have the Home Office really lost the plot that seriously?
Dear Archibald,
Further to my email of 21/02/14, I have now completed my consideration of
the public interest test and attach the substantive response to your
above-referenced FOI request.
Yours sincerely

What an absolute nonsense. They obviously do have the information or they would not have needed to go through this ridiculous rigmarole, and why on earth are they not revealing it? National Security? Health & Safety?
Dear FOI Requests,
The entire 3 March 2014 response was complete bol*o$ks. It seems every penny I pay in tax and council tax which funds the police and home office is misused.
I have from today made the decision to withhold around 15% of my council tax payments which goes to fund the force and will continue withholding that element until I have proof that my contributions are not being misused.
Yours sincerely,
Archibald

Unless Archibald is a valid entity in its own right, consider giving them you name in full ie mr Archibald. A. Archibald etc.
We all know the home office by now. .. They will come back in a month staying that this wasn't a valid request as you didn't specify your name.
Also be weary of them considering you as vexatious too as there is a simular request currently in the PIT stage (bizzarly under national security)
