TV License evasion, broken down by UK country
Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please treat this email as a Freedom of Information Request.
It would appear that the most recent figures for TV License evasion rate, broken down by country, date back to 2016. https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/res...
I assume that the BBC holds more up to date figures.
Please therefore supply me with details of:
1. The total number of TV license fee payers, broken down by UK constituent country.
2. The estimated evasion rate in each UK constituent country.
3. The total number of people referred to prosecuting authorities for non-payment of the TV license, broken down by UK constituent country.
I would be grateful if you could supply me with the most recent five years worth of data, broken down by year.
Please supply the requested information by email. Please avoid providing the requested information in a pdf format file. Instead I would prefer the requested information is supplied in a machine readable format, such as CSV.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours faithfully,
Ally Tibbitt

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of British Broadcasting Corporation's handling of my FOI request 'TV License evasion, broken down by UK country'.
It is clearly possible to provide the information requested - the information has been published in the past - and I believe the exemptions used to justify non-disclosure of the requested information have been wrongly applied.
Please reconsider the entire response.
I look forward to hearing from you in due course.
Yours faithfully,
Ally Tibbitt

Dear Ally Tibbitt,
We write further to your Freedom of Information Internal Review request
dated 02 July 2021.
Due to the complexity of the request, the BBC requires additional time to
comply. The ICO guidance, available here:
[1]https://ico.org.uk/media/for-organisatio...,
states: “The Act does not define what might constitute a ‘reasonable’
extension of time. However, our view is that an authority should normally
take no more than an additional 20 working days to consider the public
interest, meaning that the total time spent dealing with the request
should not exceed 40 working days.”
Please be assured that your internal review is progressing, and we will
provide the response as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Yours sincerely,

I note that some time has now passed since my request for a review. Please could you give me an indication of when this process will be completed?
