TV licence inspectors entering homes of people vulnerable or clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19

Currently waiting for a response from British Broadcasting Corporation, they should respond promptly and normally no later than (details).

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Please will you answer the following request for information, in relation to your TV licence inspections since 4th August (that is, the date on which your reply to my previous enquiry, shown at https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/s... , indicates that they resumed).

- Before entering domestic premises for the purposes of TV licence inspections, what steps (if any) are you taking to ascertain whether any persons categorised as vulnerable or clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19 are resident in those premises?

- If you are obtaining this information, then how are you processing it, and in particular, in what ways (if any) is information about a vulnerable or clinically extremely vulnerable resident taken into account when deciding whether to enter residential premises?

Definitions:

- "you" also includes inspectors acting as contractors on your behalf

- "enter" includes attempting or requesting entry

- "vulnerable" has the same meaning as in subsection 1(3)(c) of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020

- "clinically extremely vulnerable" has the same meaning as at https://www.gov.uk/government/publicatio...

Yours faithfully,

Perry Icso

Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

I am led to believe that you will now have two separate reply email addresses for me, generated automatically by the WhatDoTheyKnow.com website:
- one address for responses to this enquiry,
- another address for responses to my previous enquiry, for which I have requested an internal review.

When you reply to each of these issues, please can you ensure that you send each to the appropriate email address by sending it as a reply to the relevant incoming email, as this affects which page your response is published on, and it will save the volunteers at WhatDoTheyKnow.com from having to manually move replies onto the correct page. Thank you.

Yours faithfully,

Perry Icso
