Tuta Absoluta Occurence in Europe
Dear Food and Environment Research Agency,
My name is Sherif Shuaib, a masters degree student studying Applied Mathematics at Prince of Songkla university, Thailand.
For my thesis and research, i am working on Tuta Absoluta pest (Tomato Leaf miner).
I have picked up an interest in Tuta Absoluta pest since it affected my country (NIGERIA) last year and its possible next location is Thailand according to reports from Russell IPM.
Since there is no occurrence in Thailand yet, i contacted the head of Tuta Absoluta pest management in my country (NIGERIA) but unfortunately there has been no response from her after several weeks.
I am contacting you to request from you if there is any possibility you could help me with any available Data on this pest in the regions where it has been experienced. This will be very useful for me to estimate the possible risk and invasion in Thailand and Asia as a whole.
Any other suggestions to useful sites to obtain this data will be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to seeing your reply.
Yours faithfully,
Sherif Shuaib
Dear Mr Shuaib,
