Turkish student enrollments by high school type and the existence of special quotas
Dear University of Oxford,
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act. Specifically, I would like to know:
How many Turkish nationals who graduated from Theological High Schools, known as "Imam Hatip Lisesi" in Turkey, have been admitted to the University of Oxford based on academic merit and have successfully graduated from the institution's undergraduate and graduate programmes throughout its history?
If possible, please provide a breakdown of how many students have been admitted from each type of Turkish high school.
Additionally, could you please provide information on whether "special quotas" with looser academic admissions requirements have ever been granted for the children of government leaders and influential business people?
Thank you for your assistance.
Yours faithfully,
Burak Coskun
