Turkey now Poultry Farm, Briston, Norfolk

The request was successful.

Dear Environment Agency,

Please find below questions relating to the Bernard Matthews turkey now chicken farm in Briston.

I understand there is a history of complaints regarding the smell emitting from that site and affecting Briston households. I also understand that woodland was planted to help screen off the smell though i do wonder quite how effective that really could be.

My questions are as follows
1) how many complaints relating to odour from that site have been made to The Environment Agency each year from 2001 up to the end of 2015

2) have any of those complaints been made about the smell by properties on holt road, briston

3) from which roads in Briston have most of the complaints come from

4) have Bernard matthews at Briston breached any conditions in the last 15 years requiring enforcement action by The EA? In which case what action was taken and what were the outcomes

I look forward to receiving your responses.

Yours faithfully,
Catherine Ruvolo
