Trust Expenditure or Payment to Suppliers from 1st April 2018 to Date

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

Dear North Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council,

We have analysed data on your transparency site https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/category... and find that prior to April 2018 the Council transacted at-least 1000 Fostering related payments, however, since then these payments have dried up to below 100. Is there any particular reason for this drastic decrease or would there be data missing from the reports? We kindly request you to please check with the concerned department(s) to provide us with any missing data if any.

If it would help, I am specifically looking for payments to suppliers who provide a service in Health and Social Care from April 2018 to Date. This would include all suppliers falling under the categories :-

1. Payments to suppliers who provide fostering and adoption services to the Council
2. Payments to suppliers who provide care services to the council. This would include suppliers who provide care under each of below -
a. Children's Residential/ Nursing Care Providers
b. Adult Residential/ Nursing Care Providers
c. Elderly Residential/ Nursing Care Providers
d. Domiciliary Care Home Providers
e. Supported Living Care Home Providers
f. Care at Home Providers
g. Providers who carry out Homeless Services
3. Payments to suppliers who provide Special Education Services

In particular I am looking for itemized transactions (i.e., at the daily level) for suppliers - preferably in CSV format. I look forward to the information at the earliest.

Thank You,
Yours Faithfully,
Nikhil Prabhu

Dear FOI Officer,

Thank for you for your response.

In your response "Reference: FOI2046", you wrote "The applicant has submitted a request previously which asked for similar data. This data was provided and included in excess of 12000 items. This was for one month only.

Public bodies can aggregate requests received from the same person for the same or
similar requests received in a 60-day period.

Therefore, this request is refused under section 12 as exceeding the appropriate limit. "

Whilst our earlier request (FOI1917) was for only 1 month, Dec 2018 - On further analysis of the data we determined inconsistencies in other months of year 2018/19 as well. Hence, for this request, we kindly appeal to you to provide us with data from April 2018 to Date Excluding Dec 2018.

That would make this a different request from the one prior. I do apologize for the mistake & any confusion or inconvenience caused.

Yours sincerely,
nikhil prabhu

FOI Officer, North Tyneside Metropolitan Borough Council

In all further correspondence please quote our reference FOI2046.

Under the Freedom of Information Act requests received from the same
applicant within a 60 day period and requesting the same or similar
information can be aggregated for the purposes of Section 12, the
appropriate limit.

Although this request may be requesting data from a different time frame
to the previous request, FOI1917, due to the number of records which would
have to be searched to respond to this request in its own right, would
exceed the appropriate limit. Therefore, the Authority is applying section
12 and refusing the request as exceeding the appropriate limit.
