Troubled Family Programme Information

Dear Suffolk County Council,

Please could you provide me with the following information:

1) What is the maximum number of families you can make a payment by results claim under the Troubled Families programme in Phase 2?
2) How many Sustained and Significant PBR claims have you made to date?
3) How many Continuous Employment PBR claims have you to date?
4) Do you have an internal target for Continuous Employment PBR claims by the end of the programme? If so what is your internal target for Continuous Employment PBR claims?
5) Do you have a strategy for helping people on your Troubled Families programme find work? If yes please share it.
6) Do you fund specific positions through your Troubled Families programme money? If so please provide details of which positions are funded through the Troubled Families money.
7) Does your Troubled Families team work with your SEND team in order to achieve Sustained and significant progress PBR claims? If so please outline any mechanisms you have for this.
8) What was your councils overall spend for 2017/18 on Young Carers provision both in £ and as a % of your councils overall budget for Childrens Services.
9) Does your Troubled Families team work with your Young Carer provision in order to achieve Sustained and significant progress PBR claims? If so please outline any mechanisms you have for this.
10) What was your councils overall spend for 2017/18 on Interpretation and Translation services, both in £ and as a % of your councils overall budget?
11)What was the average hourly rate for face to face Translation you were charged in 2017/18? For clarification this average hourly rate should include both the cost of the translation as well as any admin fees and travel expenses related to the translation.
12) What % of your Troubled Families cohort are non-English speakers?
13) Does your Troubled Families team have a specific strategy for working with families where they do not speak English well? If yes please share, including if your TFOP includes an outcome for families where adults have successfully improved their English language skills
