Tree Preservation Orders Digital Format

The request was successful.

Dear Boston Borough Council,

Is the council's set of Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) indexed in digital form?

If so, please may I have a copy of all the data relating to TPOs from any databases you hold regarding them. One or more CSV exports would be ideal.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Wilde

Dear FOI,

Thank you for your swift reply, I attempted to open this file however it is corrupted so only the date of the TPO is visible. I apologise I should have been more specific in my initial email what I would specifically like, if possible, Is the GIS data relating to trees subject to TPOs not the TPO itself. So either a shapefile or the longitude and latitude that you might use for an interactive council map would be ideal if possible?

Yours sincerely,

Mr Wilde

Good afternoon, further to your email dated the 24th July please find attached the information you require.

Please note the coordinate system used to create the coordinates is the British Coordinate System (we can change to lat & long if needed but there are about 50 types), the date column is in reverse order year, month, day and the coordinates for the groups and woods is created on the centroid.

We can send the GIS file but we are a Mapinfo site with both points and polygons in the same table, we have had some issues in the past exporting to shape files and then getting a third party system to import them.

If you require anything else please do not hesitate to contact us.
