Thank you for your information request, reference number NELC/28976/2324.
I can confirm that North East Lincolnshire Council holds the following
information:
1. All documents related to where to plant trees?
The council do not currently have information that identifies tree
planting opportunities across the whole of the borough however, we do have
information relating to specific council led projects. The attached maps
have been used to support a project that is still in the
feasibility/development stage.
2. Long term management plans for planted trees?
Long term management plan for trees following planting as set out below.
• Visit once per week during the summer months applying 30-40ltrs of
water per tree.
• Visit once per month during the winter months applying 20-30ltrs of
water per tree.
• Ensuring supports are sturdy.
• Strapping is at the right tension.
• Guarding is secure.
• Removal of damaged / crossing branches.
• Re-Mulching where necessary.
• Retain a weed free base to reduce competition for nutrients and water.
• Check for early signs of disease / Failure.
3. Survival rates of planted trees?
North East Lincolnshire Council does not hold this information.
