Dear Mr Jones

We refer to your Freedom of Information Request in respect of money spent
on tree planting in 2020 and the number of trees planted.

The Council's response is set out below:

RCT Council did not spend any monies on the planting of trees in 2020. The
Council received a grant fund from Welsh Government called 'Greening the
Council Estate' and the grant allocated was £33,338 for the planting of
over 350 trees in parks, cemeteries and open spaces across the County
Borough.

We trust this answers your query. If you are unhappy with the way your
